Where I Was Last Weekend - Bachelorette Party Edition

You know what is more fun that going on a bachelorette party? Going on a bachelorette party when you can’t drink. KIDDING. That is definitely not more fun. Good news though: I had a blast hanging out with my best bitches this past weekend in Myrtle Beach (aka the Redneck Riviera. If you’ve been you know what I mean.) for my bestie Katie’s bachelorette party. You might remember that I have another bestie named Katie that got married back in June. This is a different Katie. Katie is like the old Sophia. I even have a sister named Katie.

We stayed at a hotel right on the beach and because it was the off season, we got an insane deal on a suite that held all of us girls in comfort. My friends were so sweet and even gave my sober and pregnant self my own bed.

On Saturday, we had arranged for a pole party in our hotel suite. It was so much fun. This very nice and energetic lady came and set up X-Poles and taught us some moves. It was actually quite the workout and a total blast.

(Here are me and my friend Missy learning the “Martini Girl.” This was the service we wound up using and it was great. I would definitely do it again and recommend it for your next bachelorette party in Charleston or Myrtle Beach.)

(After the class, our instructor posed us all in this fun photo. My pose is called the “Lazy Mermaid” in case you are interested. Also, woah lulu lemon reflector powers!)

Saturday night, we went out for literally the best sushi I’ve ever had before heading to a super fun dualing piano bar.

All in all, it was a great weekend. It was also a really eye opening experience to be the only sober person at a bar at 1 am. especially in Myrtle Beach. Let’s just say there were people I saw that my eyes cannot unsee.
