Have you ever wondered why drive through ATMs have braille on them?

Here’s why:

It’s cheaper to just make one prototype/plastic mold for the little key pads than to have two - one with braille and one without braille. Since walk-up ATMs need braille, the single prototype, also used on drive through ATMs, was designed with braille.

Now you know.
