Topic: What are the makings of a great date?
Today, I’m going to explain my idea of a perfect date with a significant other. Based on the topics my wife suggests I write about, I am begining to think this is her way of getting me to think out loud about things I usually dont talk about. Oh well….here goes:
A perfect date could really be a variety of situations that are all dependent on what has been going on in life. Have you been really busy but make time squeeze in a cup of coffee on a Saturday afternoon? Or do you have more time and can spend a couple hours together dining and maybe seeing a movie?
I have always been a fan of a spontaneous night that is full of laughter and flirting. Laughter is a great way to gauge the date. I challenge anyone who says that they are not having a good time when laughter is a part of the conversation. Now, if all of this laughter is mixed with a bit of flirting, you have great potential for an evening of good things to come!
So, a date can be great if the company you are with is also great. You can do the most mundane things if the one you are with is special to you. Conversely, a date that may seem exciting will seem to drag on if you are not on the same wavelength.
