Hilarious post. The other day I was whipping the dog (gently) and screaming at the child (not too loudly)....and I was certainly going to b- slap the next person I saw. It was horrible. My husband sent me a stupid evite for like three of his employees to celebrate their birthdays....and I was so pissed! I was like no, I am not celebrating every Tom, dick, and harry's bday because I don't even celebrate my own. So I replied very rudely and I felt much better. Then...the monthly visitor came and I started to feel a bit nicer...But you know what, sometimes people do need to be b-slapped a little and sometimes it feels good to do it. Ha.

I read once that our brains can't be grateful and grouchy at the same time. I
read it on a pissy day as well and it annoyed me. But I have found that if I
start mentally ticking off the things I am grateful for- and sometimes it is a
yummy cup of coffee or a little bird outside- or my sweet dogs sleeping in the
sun- it does help my mood. If not I go buy a yummy coffee and eat some
chocolate :)

I like to listen to the most ridiculous, bad 80s song I have in iTunes and listen while FORCING myself to sing along to every word I know. Usually by the end I feel somewhat better :)

I say go buy yourself a new shirt. You will feel pretty and you won't have to feel bad about eating something unhealthy.

i suggest that you treat yourself with your most favorite coffee drink this morning and the yummiest salad for lunch and make sure to spend your lunch time with a friend/coworker that you really enjoy being around. a good lunch date with a friend always cheers me up.

Ah your love story is sooo great. There is absolutely nothing wrong in taking it slow. In fact I think its much better as you do not rush into something you cannot take back! I am with my BF for 4 years and a few months and we are happy that way. Although he said "I love You" after two weeks - which threw me off a little bit, because it was too fast and I didn't think that this is possible - I was like: are you serious? thats too fast. And he was like: well thats what I feel right now. And we are happy every since. Sure we have are bad times but more good times - we are really in harmony with each other which is so surreal to me that I have to pinch myself from time to time.
I am happy for you too!!!! thanks so much for sharing!!!
