Khloe and Lamar’s wedding FAKE????!?! WTF????
This, THIS is why the divorce rate in America is so high. If you don’t want to get married, fine. That is just a-okay with me. Really, I think love is love is love, but don’t pretend to get married for ratings and don’t you dare take away from the sanctity of marriage - and those who choose to get and stay married - with...
It's not you. It's ME.
For some reason, the changing of the seasons always reminds me to take a look at the changing of myself.
How do the things I say and the way I say them affect those I care about? What can I do to be a better person, a contributor to the world we live in? Are there things about my personality that need work and what can I do to improve this? Am I working toward the bigger picture, even if I...

– William Safire, 1929-2009 (for you, CaryRandolph)
Note to self
In an effort to be healthy and all Jerry-Seinfeld’s-Wife-ish, do not think it’s a good idea to mix carrot puree into hamburgers. They will taste bad and people (read: your parents and husband) will make fun of you and your orange hamburgers and you’ll just be hungry anyways because the only one who wants your gross hamburgers is your dog.
Just remember that.

Have you ever wondered why drive through ATMs have braille on them?
Here’s why:
It’s cheaper to just make one prototype/plastic mold for the little key pads than to have two - one with braille and one without braille. Since walk-up ATMs need braille, the single prototype, also used on drive through ATMs, was designed with braille.
Now you know.

And I may or may not have had day dreams of my dad and Bill totally hitting it off and then Bill and Melinda would want to spend Thanksgiving with my family or invite us to their place. And I could pick his brain and listen to his ideas.
A gal can dream.

Do you live in NC?
Do you know of a great upholsterer that won’t cost almost as much as just buying a new couch?
If you don’t live in NC, do you still know of an upholsterer in NC?
I think you have already started your new life plan that you have on your...
– G-chat from el husband-o.
To which my answer is, no. No, I don’t realize. The only thing I do realize is that I have a closet which is much too small. For realz. See proof here.
To have a roommate or to not have a...
E-mail me (info in side bar)! I may have a place for you…
ilikeyourwigjanice:
I want to live downtown. This will most likely be my last place I live in Raleigh, and I’ve always wanted to move downtown but staying in N Raleigh always won out somehow. So I’m looking at 5 points, Boylan Heights, parts of Glenwood South, and maybe Mordecai or Cameron Village. Now I can afford it on my own...
New Life Plan
Screw buying a house.
I will now take all my money and buy really, really expensive shoes. Then I will take pictures of myself in said shoes. If all goes according to plan, I will then get fitted in Paris by Chanel Haute Couture for the Crillon Ball - just like, Jane.
(Icing on the cake will be getting to also design my own shoe line. Since I should have realized this plan closer to 17 than 27,...

Take Five Friday: Autumn Favorites
Today’s take five Friday are five of my favorite things about Autumn described in five words:
1. Pumpkin anything: pies, lattes, beers, martinis, candles
2. Football: Beer and bbq for all
3. Cozy sweaters: More forgiving than summer’s bikinis
4. Fireplaces with a fire in them: Snaps and crackles cure all.
5. The Holidays: Cheer and close loved ones
What are your favorite Autumn...
