Have you been to Unleashed?
If you live in the Raleigh/Durham area and have a dog, you need to go.
My dear friend Amy, whom I’ve know since we played with troll dolls in 4th grade, opened this store after a life of loving dogs. She’s super smart and truly cares about canine wellness which is why all her food, treats, and toys and individually sourced out and promise only the best...
Do you do this too?
I’m sorry.
I’m sorry Anthropolgie.com, shopbop.com, cb2.com, and countless others.
You see, I have this habit. Everything that my little heart desires from your website, I put it in my shopping cart. My shopping cart might wind up $100 or $5,000. But the thing is, that I don’t buy it. I think about the little (and big) treasures I have found and I let them sit there in my...

New day, new look. I changed the look of my tumblr. Hopefully this layout is easier to read and navigate. If you have any comments or suggestions, I’d love to hear them.
This weekend: I slept for 12 hours straight and loved it.
This weekend: I found a new favorite art gallery.
There’s not much that’s better than being greeted my the world’s happiest dog upon returning home after a long day at work. Stay tuned for the end when he plays dead after being “shot.”

One of my favorite things about extra time off during the holidays is spending time catching up on books to read. I know that I can read during all times of the year, but when I start to read a book, I want to read it until I’m finished. I can’t read a chapter here or a chapter there because the suspense of wondering and not knowing what will happen drives me crazy! Delayed...

I have an abundance of caramel corn.
How did I wind up with a tub of overflowing caramely, crunchy, nutty goodness that never seems to dwindle, you ask?
Well, my little brother is a tiger scout (above cub but below boy) and they were selling tubs of popcorn for a fundraiser. Being the supportive sister I am, I placed an order and had picked out a reasonably sized tub of caramel corn for my...
Last night
It was my mom’s birthday so I offered to babysit my little brother while my parents had a child free night on the town. Joe and I stayed up late watching the Incredible Hulk while we got sick off too many chocolate chip cookies
This Morning
Parents are coming to our house to pick up Joe and bringing delicious brunch goodies with them.
Weekend moral: It’s fun to pretend...

Breakfast at Tiffany's (pt 1)
Holly: You know those days when you get the mean reds?
Paul: The mean reds, you mean like the blues?
Holly: No. The blues are because you're getting fat and maybe it's been raining too long, you're just sad that's all. The mean reds are horrible. Suddenly you're afraid and you don't know what you're afraid of. Do you ever get that feeling?
Little known fact about me: A quarter of one of my front teeth is fake.
When I was about 9, I was balancing on a railing after girl scouts waiting for my mom to pick me up and I fell and smashed my tooth on the ground. The reason I was balancing on a railing was because another girl in my troop was doing it and said “I bet you can’t do this” in the taunting, competitive way...
OMG. It snowed today, and it wasn’t just a few flakes. It was real live blustery snow. Granted the actual snow fall was only about an hour long and it all melted the instant it hit the ground, but I still got to see snow!
Here’s hoping for a white Christmas.
Melissa, I’m not sure if I should love it or hate it that you introduced me to Polyvore. It’s addictive, fo sho. (but I think I love it!)
Anywho, I’m really digging the 70’s vibe these days. I know that bohemian style is nothing new, but with this dress and that vest, what’s not to love?

So much cuteness your heart might explode.
Lately I find myself having a quarter life crisis. I’m at a point in my life where Jason and I need to figure out what we want out of life and put a plan in place.
Action starts now.
