I have been having the best time updating Facebook to the timeline view. It’s reminded me of all these funny memories I had forgotten about (since 2004 anyways). Let’s take a trip down memory lane, shall we?
First up, there’s that one time just before my senior year in college that my friends all picked up my car and turned it sideways while I slept soundly in preparation for a day at my new summer internship. I legitimately thought someone had stolen my car parts when I woke up and saw this (see below). That is, if someone needed carparts for a 1992 Geo Metro convertible. I obviously know nothing about cars. Yes, friends, a neon blue Geo Metro was my first car and I drove that sucker for six years. with no a/c. in the South. You don’t know sweat until you know sweat.
Then there was that time that I saw Britney wear a shirt with a lace panel cut out in the front, so I made one for myself. Bear in mind that this was before NuBra was invented. What on earth was I thinking? But, at least I look tan!

Then, there is also that time in 2008 when we went to Paris and Barcelona. I really must get those pictures printed, but for now, Facebook albums will do.
(When we got off the overnight train from Paris to Barcelona, I was so tired due to the champagne enjoyed in the dining car the night before that Jason carried my bags and his bags. What a sweetie! And yes, I made him pose for this photo to document it.)
(We posed with the sculpture people right after we saw the Naked Man of Barcelona walking around. You can Google it if you feel so inclined, but you have been warned.)
(Cheese!)
There was also that time we got Cole in August 2005, and he was still a puppy that could fit in the doggy Halloween costumes from Target. Naturally, he dressed up.
(Nice couch huh? Jason got those for free from his mom’s friend whose cat had ruined them and they’d been sitting in her garage. We used them for the first three years we were married and somehow I never developed any weird rashes.)
And then there was that time I was tan and skinny and blonde and and 24 and got married. That was 2006 and this is me with my best hoochies at my rehearsal dinner.
And then there is this photo – yes, those are my feet. Rather than a story which may or may not be incriminating, let’s play a game. How would you caption this photo?
